Our My Favorite Film Series returns this summer with a pick from Ambler Head Manager Kali! We'll be showing the heist classic OCEANS 11 on 35mm! 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 at amblertheater.org/specials

Here's what Kali had to say about her favorite film: Is Ocean’s Eleven not your favorite film? I used to watch this movie every weekend growing up, and it absolutely altered my brain chemistry. I would spend my nights planning my perfect heist and trying to decide if I was in love with Danny Ocean or wanted to be Danny Ocean. Rewatching it as an adult, I sincerely believe this is the perfect film. There isn’t a second wasted, with its razor-sharp editing and flawless script—which I can probably recite from memory. The cast sweeps you up in their charm, and suddenly you’re watching a magic trick, and it's one I’ll never get tired of. Thank you, Odyssey Film Institute, for making my dreams come true by seeing this on 35mm.

George Clooney leads a stacked cast of Hollywood A-listers, playing career criminal Danny Ocean. Danny's a recent parolee looking to score one last big job — the catch is he's looking to rob 3 casinos of $150 million over the course of one night with the help of his old pals. OCEAN'S ELEVEN is a fast and loose good time at the movies! Also starring Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Matt Damon. Presented on a 35mm print courtesy of the Odyssey Film Institute.
